Homer x Prada
Frank Ocean’s Homer brand has collaborated with luxury fashion label Prada on a collection comprising an anorak, backpack and belt bag in four colourways. The limited-edition collection is labelled with a co-branded tag and is exclusively available at the Homer store in New York.
Marimekko x Adidas
Finnish design company Marimekko has released a second limited edition collection with Adidas for AW21. The collection is made up of performance pieces across training, tennis and swimwear with a streetwear influence. The range incorporates 60’s poppy-inspired prints and is made from Parley Ocean plastic and upcycled plastic waste.
Gucci's Lifestyle Collection
Gucci has unveiled a new lifestyle collection alongside the opening of their new Milan pop-up. The lifestyle range includes Gucci pencils, notebooks, pencil cases and other lifestyle goods, focusing on quality craftsmanship. The pop-up encompasses a fairytale-like feel with whimsical interiors in line with the feel of the latest lifestyle campaign shot by Max Siedentopf.
Harvey Nichols Launches Re-Sale Initiative
Harvey Nichols is offering a resale initiative for pre-loved childrenswear clothing. This is in collaboration with Kids O’Clock, a marketplace that will collect and resell the donated secondhand items. Customers will receive a £20 voucher incentive with a percentage of proceeds being given to charity to encourage shoppers to embrace more sustainable choices.
Telfar Unveils TV Channel
Telfar has launched two TV channels at New York Fashion Week, including a 24hr live broadcast named Telfar.TV and FTV, which can be accessed through Apple TV. The service launched with a press conference featuring rappers, dancers and artists. Alongside the TV channel, Telfar has revealed a new duffle bag design that can only be purchased when a QR code randomly flashes on the screen.
