Gore-Tex's Rental Sportswear
Perfomancewear brand Gore-Tex has launched a rental scheme across 15 resorts and retail spaces across the US to cater to the occasional snowsport enthusiast. The adaptable range features a mix of products, centring technical and durable properties suitable for repeated use and cleaning.
Adidas x Spinnova
In collaboration with Finnish textile company, Spinnova, Adidas has unveiled a mid-layer piece for hikers made from an innovative material comprising 30% regenerative wood-based fibres and 70% organic cotton. The piece coined Adidas Terrex HS1 has been produced in limited numbers with plans to scale up production of the Spinnova fibre to help reach sustainability initiatives.
Doors. Opens NYFW Pop-Up
Experimental retail platform Doors. has opened its third pop-up titled ‘Metaverse, Schmetaverse’, offering a curation of fashion and accessory designers alongside up-and-coming artists, including digital and AI creatives, alongside beauty brands spotlighted in a 3D virtual storefront. The retail space will host presentations and panel discussions to open up designers to new audiences while amplifying their stories.
Primark x Greggs
An unexpected partnership has formed as Greggs and Primark have collaborated on a limited-edition clothing line. Promotional teasers over the week presented mannequins in-store holding sausage rolls ahead of the launch, drumming up curiosity and speculation across social media. The 11 piece collection is set to be released on 19th February alongside the launch of Tasty by Greggs, a café located in the Birmingham Primark branch.
Burberry's SS22 Flagship Experience
Burberry has unveiled an immersive Spring/Summer 2022 experience in its Beverly Hills flagship designed to engage the senses through its conceptual interior. The store experiments with unique sounds, textures and abstract prints and materials, embodying the concept of infinite possibilities, blending fantasy and reality.
