Snøhetta Designs Elliptical Planetarium


Architecture studio Snøhetta has completed a planetarium in France. Orionis features two domes surrounded by sweeping wooden walls and made from materials informed by the surrounding area. Its elliptical shape was informed by its function as a space where visitors can explore the night sky.

Threads, Meta's New Social Media Platform

Threads, launched this week and is the latest social media platform from Meta, said to be a competitor of Twitter. The app, for sharing text updates and engaging in public conversation, gained 100 million users in less than five days.
